Our Goals

At Troop 697, we are strong believers in the ability of our youth to succeed. Our programs, outings and activities are designed to help our youth reach their goals and fulfill their highest potential. We are proud of all our boys and love watching them grow into bright-minded and confident young men.​

Troop 697 meets at St. James Episcopal Church in Tempe. St. James is located at

975 East Warner Road on the SE corner of Rural and Warner.

Troop 697 is part of the Gila River District of the Grand Canyon Council of Boy Scouts of America.

Our troop meets Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm. We offer many hiking and camping opportunities.

Boy Scouts are between 5th and 12th grades. Boys of all faiths are welcome. Whether you are bridging from Cub Scouts or have never been a Scout, all are welcome to be our guests!
