Reavis Ranch Backpack Trip - January 2009

Here is our group of hikers - we are hiking in to Reavis Ranch from the north trailhead - don't tell anyone this trail is 9 miles long (they think it is only 5)

Our hikers: Gary, Tyler, Dave, Blake, Michael, Karl, Alex, Nico, Mike, Debi, Bill

Nico signs us in before we start hiking
Time for a break already?

No, this isn't the same break, it's another one. Good news, we are almost 1/10th of the way there :)

Does anybody know where we are??

Admiring the view
Mr. Mikac leaves our group to go find Reavis Falls

It must be time for another break! We are almost halfway there. We stop for lunch at a windy pass that is not Windy Pass

The real Windy Pass turns out to be not so windy after all
Time for some foot first aid
Alex, if I had known you wanted to carry two packs, I would have given you mine at the trailhead!!
Waiting for our hamburgers at the Reavis Sports Bar - this place has a great atmosphere but could use a little work on the satellite TV system - we don't want to miss the Cardinal playoff game tomorrow
Sitting around the jacuzzi at Reavis Ranch
Boys, when I was a Boy Scout in Hawaii, we didn't have fancy jacuzzis and sports bars at our campsites, we had to make do with pineapple plantations and hula girls.
Breakfast time!

I wish I was staying another day (so do my feet)

Hey, Mr. Pendleton, there's somebody following you..
At least I'll have someone to talk to on the trail.

Mr. Weber and Tyler

Mr. Pendleton and Blake
Nico is getting his feet ready for the (four-mile) (flat) hike back out to the cars.

Thank you to our trip leaders, Mr. Weber and Mr. Pendleton!!
GO CARDINALS!
