Rainbow Valley Rocket Launch
Estrella Park Campout

November 2004

Now, this is a group that's ready to shoot some rockets! The Webelos 2 Patrol from Pack 676 joined us in Rainbow Valley for a day of rocket launches and an overnight campout at Estrella Park. Thanks to Bob Moreash and the Superstition Rocket Club for their help! Despite a few rocket crashes, a great time was had by all.

First we go over the safety rules and put the finishing touches on our rockets.

Hey John and Ian, it's not rocket science! Oh, yes, it is!

After the rocket launch we set up camp at Estrella Park

I'll just relax here until my tent is set up and dinner is ready..
can someone fetch my slippers please?

Too many cooks?? What are you talking about?
We're all food tasters.

And after dinner we all enjoyed a camp fire with a flag retirement ceremony and skits and cobbler!
