Point of Pines Lake Campout

This is our first of two BWCA pre-trips to start working together as a crew and practice canoeing, portaging, and other skills we'll need on our Minnesota canoe trip this summer. Here Mark goes over the expectations and rules for the upcoming trip. | |

We head down to the lake to learn the correct way to portage and practice some basic canoeing strokes. |
Jeff does great at the portaging and canoeing but missed the lesson on how to use a belt.

 | Matt and Mark team up for practice and Bob Meiers helps out with the portaging. Good crews work together to help carry all the gear and get the group to the next lake as fast as possible.
