Jeff's Eagle Project
June 2007

Jeff chose to help the Foundation for Blind Children for his Eagle project. He raised funds and had materials donated to build toy hangers for the children and refinished all of their picnic tables at their day care center.
Jeff organizes the instructions and readies all the materials before the Scouts show up to start work.
 | |
Some Scouts will be working on building the toy hangers while others work on refinishing the picnic tables. Jeff divides them into groups and assigns tasks to everyone.
The adults help by by sanding the tables and fixing cracks and damage to the tables.
Whenever power tools are being used, you can count on Mr. Casper to be there! |

| Connor and Ryan work on building toy hangers.
 | | More workers show up and get assigned jobs by Jeff.
After the tables are sanded, they get coats of primer paint.
 | |
The toy hangers are done and the tables are all painted with primer.
 | |
 | The next step is to paint the tables with coats of brown paint.
 | They're looking good!
Ryan works on special toy hangers for use by children in wheelchairs.
 | |
 | A second coat of paint on the picnic tables
Blaze takes a nap while the paint dries..
 | And now the really fun part - decorating the tables by finger painting designs on them!
Augie likes this part!
The tables are really looking great! |

Jeff delivers all of the tables and toy hangers to the Foundation for Blind Children. |
