Aravaipa Canyon
October 2004
 | Aravaipa Canyon is one of our favorite places to hike and is especially beautiful in the fall. On this trip half of us hiked in the from the east and the other half hiked in from the west. We camped together in the middle and traded car keys and then hiked out the next day.

| On our hike in from the east side on Friday, we were stalked
by a pack of coatimundi - unfortunately
they were too fast for our cameras!

 | We day hiked to explore the middle part of the Canyon and found this giant mossy rock! Bill wanted to take it home for a souvenir but Deb couldn't fit it in her pack to carry it for him. |  |
 | We see orange pants coming through the bushes and we know the other half of our group is here!
