East Clear Creek - September 2000

Our annual hike into East Clear Creek.. A short but steep backpack trip into a beautiful canyon with a great swimming hole, this is always one of our favorite outings!

After setting up camp, we had the rest of the day to play in the water, hike, and relax..

The Pandas and Dragons practiced their water safety skills and worked on First and Second Class requirements.

While the Woodchucks practiced their boating skills..and the adult leaders relaxed.

Time to make dinner..some of us ate better than others (thanks to Mike M. for carrying down the salmon steaks and charcoal!) and after dinner we had a campfire with stories and songs.

And we all made it out! Even Arnie! Lunch and cold sodas at the top of the hill.
